The History of Mellen Street Market
Mellen Street Market has been a locally owned and operated business since before 1970! In 1973 it was sold to the Nappi family who built it up to be the friendly neighborhood store that it's known as today. In 2018 the family decided it was time to pass it on to another generation of locals, and that's where we come in!
We are keeping the traditional charm but adding a few updates! We've already added more homemade food options, public computer access, local craft beers, delivery of food and goods, and coming in mid 2019 there will be a bar top for dining in and outside seating for guests!
We are excited to continue the tradition of friendly service at reasonable prices.
